Wooden Drapery Hardware Questions & Answers
Below we answer some of the frequently asked questions and answers we receive from customers regarding our wood curtain rods and drapery hardware products and services. If you have a question we’ll gladly answer it
Do you offer wooden curtain rod and drapery hardware installations?
Yes, we have professional wooden curtain rod installers and we service the greater Toronto area including but not limited to: All Toronto neighbourhoods (Bridle Path, Forest Hill, Annex, Birch Cliff-Cliffside, Rosedale, little Italy, Danforth, etc), Mississauga, Cooksville, Port Credit, Brampton, Oakville, Streetsville, Burlington, Milton, Georgetown, Hamilton, Etobicoke, Woodbridge, Vaughan, North York, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Rexdale, Scarborough, Newmarket, Guelph, Markham, Ajax. If your city is not mentioned, please call us to inquire about a drapery installation in your area.
Can I cut your wooden curtain rods?
Yes wooden curtain rods can easily be cut with a simple hacksaw or any other wood cutting tools. Most wooden curtain rod installations require cutting the curtain poles to custom lengths to accommodate different window sizes. Once you cut a wooden curtain pole to desired length you will need to drill a 1/4” diameter hole, that is 1.5” to 2” deep into the center of the cut curtain rod end. We suggest you first pre-drill a pilot hole with a thinner drill bit and then follow through with the 1/4” drill bit. It is helpful to get a helping hand so that you drill the hole straight and not crooked. Our wood curtain rod installers can take care of any rod cutting for you.
Does your wooden drapery hardware work for bay windows?
Yes, we offer wooden curtain rod elbows, which allow you to create angles with your wooden curtain rods, and enable you to follow the shape of your bay and bow windows.
Do you have curved decorative wooden curtain rods for arch windows or curved bow windows?
No, we only carry straight wooden curtain rods, as there is not such products on the market.
Do you have extendable wood curtain rods?
No, extendable wooden curtain rods do not exist, however we do have wood curtain rod connectors which allow you to connect two wooden curtain poles together to achieve extended lengths.
If you have a question we’ll gladly answer it.
