We didnt like the way our custom cushions fit the rattan chairs, Prestige asked us to return them, had is speak with the seamstress to discuss why we were unhappy and then redid all six cushions. They are perfect! The customer service is one of the best and the cushions are amazing. Thank you!

We love our new drapes. Prestige was recommended by a family member and when we arrived at the store we had only some vague ideas about what we wanted for our living room. We wandered around the store, not finding anything we could agree on. Zana was patient and worked hard to understand what we wanted. She took what we said and presented some suggestions from the samples books. From then it was easy. Our dream drapes were there. The price we paid was in the range of what we expected after researching online. The wait time after we ordered was about 6 weeks, very reasonable. For service and quality we would shop at Prestige in the future.

Work was done on time and is excellent. Great advice as well when we were deciding on style and colour. Thank you for great service and we can’t wait to set up our patio furniture with all the new cushions!

We had the best experience working with Prestige Decor. We needed new curtains for changerooms in a clothing boutique. The original hardware was hard to use and the curtains did not open and close easily. Agnes and the other staff at Prestige Decor were so helpful and came up with a great solution. Wonderful people

I was looking to replace a damaged old curtain rod. I called ahead to make sure they carried the product and what measurements I needed. The women on the phone helped me prepare on what measurements they required and pictures they needed to see. When I arrived they provided me with very good customer service helping me get the right product from my situation. As well helped me find a remedy for broken curtain coaster from an old curtain as well. Very happy with the level of service and friendly service I received and would gladly recommend them.

Their prices are competitive, and the value is excellent. Sales staff went the extra mile to cover a large amount of detail before closing the deal on our very particular project - curtains for a 40'x12' window. The installation staff was efficient and very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I recently worked with Zana at Prestige Decor to transform several pieces, including some more challenging pieces (tufted back loveseat and ottoman and a reclining wingback) and converting dining chairs from caned back to upholstered / cushion back. I went in a few months ago to discuss some window treatments options with the ladies. I had an idea of what I wanted but after discussion with the ladies, they were so patient and came up with ideas I hadn't even thought of. They were very creative and spent quite a bit of time with me. In the end I chose to delay purchasing window treatments but so appreciated the time and patience of the ladies, especially given the fact they weren't guaranteed a sale. I would highly suggest Prestige for their creativity and professionalism!

Prestige Decor did a great job on a custom bench seat for my home. The built in bench was in the shape of an L and they did a one piece cushion which has worked out quite nicely! The work was done in a timely manner and they were very helpful and responsive. Looking forward to working with them again!

I have had the pleasure of working with the ladies at Prestige Décor on 2 occasions - Jan 2016 (my first visit) and Aug 2017 (my second visit). Both interactions were excellent. The ladies are very helpful and really know their fabrics and what combinations look good. On my initial visit I wanted to reupholster a love seat and a faded bench from my living room. They could have easily allowed me to reupholster the loveseat as I had originally wanted, but instead they convinced me to save the money but to modernize it by adding pillows. The loveseat looks amazing. The fabric suggested for the bench really enhanced the living room and along with the love seat, transformed the space. I am very, very pleased. My second visit was to reupholster 2 slipper chairs from my family room, one from my master bedroom and a loveseat from my master bedroom along with complimentary pillows. This was a more difficult challenge because of the number of items to be changed. The ladies were very patient as I debated my choices and worked within my budget. They continued to offer options until I was satisfied. The quality of the craftmanship done in the workshop was excellent. The bedroom and the family room look pretty amazing with the updated additions. The ladies were very professional and take pride in their work. I will be going back next year as I continue to redecorate my home. Nothing beats custom upholstery and these ladies really know their stuff and can fit it within your budget. I came in with a weird request, a small order trying to match an unusual colour fabric to a project I was working on. It was for my Grandmother so it was very important to me that the fabric be as perfect as possible for her, and I had already been to several Fabriclands and Bouclairs (and not finding what I was looking for, with no offer of help from associates). At Prestige - EVERY lady in the store worked to help me find what I needed and lended their eye to match the colour - (I was VERY impressed and grateful!). We were looking to update our dining room chairs and two lounge chairs and after searching for different upholsterers, we decided that Prestige Decor seemed to fit our needs. I called to get a quote and they were quite helpful and detailed such that we were able to budget accordingly. We decided to go to the showroom to see the types of fabrics that they have and then we met Zana, who became our consultant. She was patient and enthusiastic for us to find the right fabric for our furniture and she provided her ideas and suggestions based on her expertise. She was very helpful from the start all the way to the end. The furniture took about 2 weeks to upholster and we were quite impressed with the finished products! We were told that shoppers wanted to buy our furniture when they saw it in the showroom! The workmanship and attention to detail was impeccable. They changed the cushioning in all of the chairs and it made a significant difference. Although the prices are more on the higher end, you definitely get the quality and workmanship that you pay for and it is worth every penny! We would highly recommend Prestige Decor if you want to add a touch of elegance to existing furniture.

I recently moved into a beautiful condo in downtown Toronto that has more windows than walls! Right away I knew I needed custom window coverings done and quick, but I had no idea whether I wanted blinds, sheers, draperies or a combination. I was so lost! After spending some time online I found several custom drapery stores in Toronto and after visiting Designer Fabrics and The Workroom I was even more confused about what I wanted. Window coverings in Toronto seemed expensive and I didn't even know if I wanted what they suggested. I finally found a store called Prestige Decor, and decided I will give it a shot even though they are located in Mississauga. The designers and service that I received was simply outstanding and I was much more confident and certain about what I wanted. I wasn't pressured at all and I got the window covering advice that I was looking for. With all the options explained to me I decided to go with beautiful sheer curtains all around and custom drapery side panels with tiebacks to add that luxurious and cozy look. My condo looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier. It only took me 20 minutes to get there from Spadina Ave. and Gardiner Expw. in Toronto and they delivered and installed all my window treatments all within 2 weeks.This is why I decided to post this review so others like me could find this amazing place that truly is unlike the other drapery and fabric stores in Toronto that I'v been to.

When I was looking for custom window coverings in the G.T.A. I had a hard time deciding whether I should make a trip to Mississauga from Toronto to check out Prestige Decor. Thankfully I made the right decision and gave them a chance because they really surpassed all my expectations. They are definitely not the biggest window treatment specialty store in the Toronto area but boy are they good! The ladies at Prestige Decor are very knowledgeable and passionate. My husband and I were at the store for a good 30 - 40 min looking through fabrics and Lidia helped us that whole time. She was very patient and continued to look for the perfect fabric for us. I called my father to assist me in cutting and installing rods I bought. His visit to my home, where the rods are took more than 48 hrs since purchase. When checking out, I wasn't told of a 48 return policy. I was also told on open hardware packages there is no return. Anyhow, my dad came over and assessed the hardware and bulk head (on which the rod is going to hang) and we really couldn't get a good sense of the height of the brackets without looking at the rod and taking the rod out of the package. We opened the tube. I opened that tube in my small condo on the living room carpet. There were no gliders inside. None. Apparently gliders (36 of them) supposed to come in the tube. So we didn't have all the parts to begin with. Not to mention that I cannot assess what my dad has to help me until we piece all the parts together. Long story short, we realized that the rod brackets were too long and could not be cut , because we would cut a hole in which a screw would go into. The bracket fell below the window frame and would have to sit low exposing sunlight slightly from above. However, I wouldn't know this UNTIL i open the bracket and rod package and piece it all together. So when I went back to the store to return the items after the cut off date, tried to make an effort to make them understand my dilemma, there was no compassion. None. No one was interested in listening. The sales rep said "there is no debate, it cannot be returned. The package has been opened". I explained, I said "I understand, however I needed someone to help me, and he needed to assess the rod and brackets to see if they were the right fit". She was stoned face looking at me. Then the sales rep said she can't make this decision, the decision lies in the store owner and she won't be returning until tomorrow. So next day, I called the store owner Zana. I was in the midst in explaining to her my situation, not even looking for a refund, but even coming to a sort of understanding or alternative solution to the items that I still had in my possession. Zana refused to even hear the entire story, she showed no signs of sincerity in understanding my situation, she kept speaking over me and repeating herself. I explained, "it isn't about the money. It is about the principal". I reiterated to Zana, that I cannot even assess the requirement of installation without looking closely at the parts and pieces. Really, it's not as if I install drapes everyday and can do this with my eyes closed. Nope, she was not having it. To her sticking to her guns was worth this really bad review. I too own my own business, in fact I deal with brides all day, meet their demands, needs, questions, and meticulous natures. I would show some sort of understanding and give a small concession instead of leaving a bad taste and experience in anyones memory. It really wasn't about the money. The women were so incredibly stubborn and short and lacked any empathy or even the ability to say "I understand your position BUT". The words and how one communicates is VITAL in providing an experience. It can be good or it could be terrible. Unfortunately mine was terrible. The stubbornness and inability to even put yourself on the receivers end, listen to, understand, and work with a potential customer is a sign of someone being unappreciative of any business that could potentially walk through their doors. To them, the customer is a receipt with some "rules" on the back which then makes any other type of relationship a done deal. What a let down! I should get my refund based on me not getting gliders alone. However Zana was dead sure I got the gliders, I swallowed that accusation too. Like what am I going to do with the gliders and return the rod? (sarcasm). Make sure when you go in, you've installed rods, or you go in with someone well rehearsed on this type of installation. Because after 48 hrs you will not get your money back, never-mind you won't even be heard. Don't bother. BTW Home Dept sells the hardware at the fraction of the cost, and yes even rods that come with gliders!

I received the most terrible customer service ever. The darker skinned lady was so very rude. The first lady was qyute helpful in trying to find the right upholstery fabric. Then the other sales lady took it upon herself to bud in. She abruptly asked me what are are u looking for and what type of fabric in a mean way with total disrespect for me or other sales lady. Infact i already had found a fabric i quite liked. I left the store with info from older woman on price and yardage. I called the store when ingot home. I had question regarding yardage of 2.25 yds if fabric for 6 seat chairs. I was pyzzled. The dark skinned lady was very nasty and used abusive language to me. Saying how dare you question us. I explained this not enough fabric..she argued with me. And mean and sarcastic. She slammed the phone on me and said take your.business elsewhere. I am in total shock. Sheshould not deal with the.public.

The end product was just ok. Nothing special. It hardly made up for the poor customer service. They sales person I dealt with had a terrible attitude as if I was bothering her. Don't return calls etc. They are not helpful with regards to samples. Overall, I would pass.

Very rude people. I went to the store to oder some drapes she was so unfriendly she gave the catalog but she said not to touch materials as my hands might make them dirty so I left the store. I was in shock. " Dear Miss drapery queen who do you think you are?"

I called asking for a quote and referenced a photo on their website explaining specifically what I was looking for and the lady on the phone didn't have the time telling me "I'm in the middle of something..." Like really?!? How do you expect to make a sale with service like this? What a shame.

Worst service

I purchased material to cover 4 chairs. Agnes was great! She helped me choose the best material for the chairs and help matched the colour. I was told the material would arrive in 2 days. It was apparently back ordered and I waited over one month. This was not the problem. I understand that these things happen and I waited patiently for the material. Agnes called me to see if I wanted to change my order or wait a little longer. Material finally arrived and I picked it up. I covered the bottom of my chairs but was unable to do the backs on my own. I took them in and they told me that they would call around to see who would cover them for me. I explained that I didn't want to spend too much on the chairs because they were only for my basement. They told me that they thought it would cost approximately $50 to $75 per chair back. The next day I received a call saying that they couldn't do it because it wasn't worth it for them. I asked what they wanted to charge me for the job and they said they didn't want to do it and that it was too much work. It was a difficult job. The lady who called said that her manager didn't want them to do it. I asked to speak with her manager and she told me that she was away on holidays! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! !! Agnes should look for another place of employment!
