Below we answer some of the frequently asked questions we receive from customers regarding our clear, lucite, acrylic curtain rods and drapery hardware. If you have a question we’ll gladly answer it.
Do you have clear curtain rods and what are the available lengths?
Yes, we have stunning acrylic curtain rods which are also known as clear curtain rods or lucite curtain rods. Our acrylic curtain rods are available in 6 and 8 foot lengths. Our clear curtain rods can be cut to any size you need with a simple hacksaw.
Are acrylic curtain rods available in only one thickness?
No, we have acrylic rods in 4 different diameter thicknesses: 1 inch thickness, 1-1/8 inch thickness, 1-3/8 inch thickness, & 1.5 inch
Can lucite/clear curtain rods be bent?
No, acrylic curtain rods are made from solid acrylic and cannot be bent.
I have a long window, can I connect 2 or more clear/acrylic curtain rods together using a connector or a screw?
There is no connector or screw to physically connect 2 acrylic rods together. However, you can join 2 acrylic rods together by using one of our curtain brackets in the center where the two rods meet. Once in place, you will then tighten the two brackets that are located at each end of your acrylic curtain rods to your acrylic curtain rod using the provided bracket screws, so the rod cannot move left or right. This is the ideal solution for long windows if you want to use acrylic curtain rods.
